A paintbrush has been in my hand ever since childhood, and so developed a deep passion for creating art. Raised in New York, I studied Graphic Design at Buffalo State College and Advertising and Design at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. After this I worked as an Art Director/Designer in NYC. Even while working as a designer, painting was my true love.
Dedicated to full time painting, I now use my design experience to create compositions that are interesting and draw the viewer in. My newest works are heavily textured, the goal being to create mood and feeling in every piece painted. My work is heavily influenced by the surroundings, coastal scenes and extensive travels. Lush landscapes that surround us are so inspirational. I want to take the viewer to another place when they see my work.
I have exhibited in multiple shows and have pieces in many private collections and galleries. I currently reside in Ponte Vedra Beach with my husband and three children. We have only been here a few years but wouldn't trade it for the world.
